ABOUT

ABOUT ★

At Reap the Harvest, we are committed to raising up the next generation of champions for Christ. Founded on the solid foundation of Jesus and the Gospel, our mission is to serve as “workers” for Christ, as described in Matthew 9:37: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”

Through youth-focused, family-friendly events, we aim to build community and show young people that they are not alone, that they have purpose, and that there is hope.

Our goal is to help youth grow in three key areas: athletically, socially, and most importantly, spiritually. We are passionate about guiding them to build a strong foundation and strengthen their faith for the future.

As vessels for the Lord, we want to overflow His blessings to everyone. We envision empowering youth to find their identity in Christ, and as they grow, they will become adults who positively impact society and contribute to the Kingdom of God.

OUR STORY

Founded by Austin Henderson, Reap the Harvest exists to be a mouthpiece for Christ through sports and evangelism.

Austin’s vision was shaped over more than sixteen years of playing football, where he witnessed firsthand how sports have the power to build relationships and strengthen the spirit, soul, and body. What began as a personal calling has grown into a mission.

Through prayerful obedience, Austin leads Reap the Harvest with the belief that it will serve as a living testimony to the goodness and power of God, walking as His hands and feet in the world.

Emily joined the mission a few years after its founding, bringing a shared passion for sports ministry and the Great Commission. Through her experiences traveling internationally for missions work, she saw how sports transcend language barriers, creating connections where words cannot.

She believes deeply that sports are a universal language—one that opens the door for authentic relationships, meaningful conversations, and the planting of Gospel seeds across cultures and communities.

Together, we are committed to using the platform the Lord has given us to exalt His name.

MEET THE TEAM

Reap the Harvest is built on a foundation of elders, board members, and dedicated workers—each playing a vital role in advancing the mission.

From our content creation team to our prayer team, every position carries purpose and impact. Whether standing on a stage preaching or faithfully interceding in the quiet of a prayer closet, each role is equally significant in the work God is doing through this ministry.

Together, we function as one body—serving, leading, and laboring to see lives transformed for Christ.

OUR BELIEFS

  • We believe the sole basis of belief is the Bible, God’s infallible, written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally, and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

  • We believe there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Spirit

  • We believe He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of men by dying on the cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. We believe He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died. We believe He ascended bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, the only mediator between God and man, continually makes intercession for His own.

  • We believe salvation is a free gift of grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe it is not by works, but by faith alone, and that every believer is called to a life of obedience and faithfulness.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to reveal and glorify Christ. His power and fullness are received by faith.

  • The Church is the body of Christ, which is composed of all people that profess faith through Jesus Christ alone.

  • Jesus Christ will come to this earth again, visibly and personally, to establish His eternal Kingdom and judge the world in righteousness.

  • Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the gospel worldwide and make disciples of all nations. Our jobs as believers is to go out and fulfill the great commission.
